Dining

AQWA Café

Enjoy relaxed dining in the air-conditioned café or take in the spectacular ocean views across the harbour or  Indian Ocean from one of our two outdoor dining terraces. Our café is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch or recharge with a barista-made coffee and something from our selection of cakes and treats!

  • Open from 9am – 2:30pm weekdays.
  • Open 9am-3.30pm weekends, school holidays & public holidays
  • Serving delicious hot meals, fresh sandwiches and wraps
    plus sweet treats and ice-creams.
  • Take in the harbour views while dining from the great location.
  • Proudly single-use plastic free. All our takeaway
    containers/cups are either compostable or recyclable.
  • AQWA Annual Pass Members receive a discount when dining in the Cafe.

AQWA Gift Shop

Dive into a sea of unique gifts at the AQWA gift shop! From adorable plush toys, to stunning souvenirs and one-of-a-kind jewellery, our shop has something for every ocean lover. Whether it’s for yourself or a loved one, our gift shop has the perfect memento to remember your AQWA visit. Come see us for a splash of shopping fun!

  • Open daily, from 9am – 3:45pm.
  • No entry ticket required to visit the gift shop.
  • Collect your Auscoinswest Souvenir Gold Coins here.
  • AQWA Members receive a discount off gift shop purchases.

Please note; you don’t have to purchase AQWA Entry to visit the Gift Shop. However you will need present at Reception and wait to be directed by a staff member to the shop floor. Last entry to the Gift Shop is 3.45pm for a 4pm close.

Ocean Image Hub

Be immersed in a world of aquatic wonder at the Ocean Image Hub, exclusive to AQWA. Our digital creators will work with you to transform your portrait into a one-of-a-kind personalised artwork, set within your choice of a unique theme. See yourself in a new light, or capture your child in a magical moment. Our AI assisted artworks are ready in under 10 minutes! Options range from a high-res digital to a printed version ready for you to take home.

Ocean Playroom

Enter the realm beneath the waves and get creative with AQWA’s brand new activities suited to children aged 2+ years. From art work projections to the new interactive sandbox kids, get ready for some creative fun! Sculpt the sea floor and create habitats to reveal new marine life with our augmented reality interactive sandbox. Then watch as we bring your child’s ocean art alive with our interactive digital drawing game. Colour in your favourite animal and sea creatures and watch them come to life as their picture swims and moves through the virtual aquarium.
